Regional skills, in the global meaning of the legacy of an area's economic and social history, create the potential for exchange for innovative projects leading to new enterprise.
Promoting such skills and resources on the world market is our ultimate task. In order to encourage exchange between regions, the Tissot Economic Foundation plans to establish a catalogue of skills for each node of the network.
A node is always a person and an associated institution, such as innovation centers, that brings specific assets to the network.

The reorientation of core skills toward new applications is our job and the innovation center, the facility where the process can be organized.
At the Tissot Foundation/Innovi innovation center, we combine project engineers, skill analyzis capability, training facilities, investment and consulting expertise, under the same roof.
The goal is to create places for exchange between given regional populations and the global market.
The innovation centers play a key role of intelligent nodes within our network. They should work to prevent crisis and to treat economic problems.
A model is the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC), founded by Georage Mitchell, which introduced us into the scientific arena of Taxas. Under the direction of Arthur Porter, HARC links universities, industry and government in research and technology transfer to serve the global marketplace.
Our economic and scientific endeavor needs to be balanced with spiritual and cultural values.
The members of the Tissot Foundation network and the institutions they are associated with, represent a considerable number of technologically inclined regions, skills and interests. However, underdeveloped regions may also gain from the network.

For example, we are installing advanced water pumping systems that are vital to the survival of many villages in regions such as Sahel in Africa. Eventually, these community can acquire greater autonomy and even become active partners of our networks.
