| Some of the best projects emerge from matching scientific and business resources. This is why the Tissot Foundation has been working to establish an international network to link the business world with scientific community so that opportunities of mutual interest can be identified and pursued, thus improving the quality of the investments. We believe that when business teams with science, the results can be very positive. To demonstrate this point, we invite you to assemble the two discs enclosed. Each disc represents a community: scientific or economic. Alone each disc can roll, but the motion quickly comes to a halt through lack of momentum. On the other hand, when the two worlds are combined, they become a new entity, more stable and more harmonious.
The Tissot Economic Foundation is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to the detection and follow up of innovative opportunities and projects for economic development. Since it was established in 1980, the Tissot Foundation has played a role in the field of innovation, setting up an international network of skills and resources to impact economic development on both a local and global scale. This is reflected in our logo which depicts a network linking people together, with the green shaded area representing a strategic meeting point for the network. |
